Chief Nursing Officer
Derrek Hidalgo, MBA, RN, NEA-BC
Derrek Hidalgo is California Rehabilitation Institute’s chief nursing officer. In this role, Derrick is responsible for nursing operations, clinical programs, quality patient care and outcomes.
As a registered nurse for over 25 years and a hospital leader for over 15 years, Derrek previously held chief nursing roles with Craig Hospital in Englewood, Colorado, and Shriners Children’s Hospital in Spokane, Washington.
Derrek earned his bachelor of science in nursing degree from Pacific Union College and master’s degree in business administration with a focus on healthcare administration from Loma Linda University.
