Matt Emanuel, MSN, RN, CRRN, Director of Quality Management

Matt Emanuel, MSN, RN, CRRN, is the director of quality management at California Rehabilitation Institute. In this role, which he has held since 2018, he facilitates and oversees the implementation of the hospital’s performance improvement programs, maintains year-round survey readiness for accreditations and leads infection control processes to ensure compliance and optimal patient safety practices.

As a nurse for over 11 years, Matt was previously employed at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, where he worked in various leadership roles and gained a wealth of experience, ranging from critical care to rehabilitation nursing, which he applies in his current role. Prior to his role as director of quality management, Matt worked as a nurse manager at California Rehabilitation Institute.

Matt earned a bachelor’s degree in nursing from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro and a master’s degree in nursing leadership from Western Governors University. He is certified in rehabilitation nursing by the Association of Rehabilitation Nurses and is currently pursuing certification in healthcare quality.
